It’s a universal fact that the history of farming is as old as human existence. There is a continuous progress in scientific research, innovation and new technological advances in the field of agriculture. Due to unforeseen environmental variations and stresses on crop plants, farmers are under constant distress. Hence, the transfer of knowledge and technologies from research laboratories & institutes to farmers’ fields is warranted. 
Keeping all concerns into consideration, Ganpat University- Kantaben Kashiram Institute of Agriculture Sciences and Research (GUNI-KKIASR) has designed an proficient and robust agricultural education curriculum as per the guidelines of ICAR. We are providing an efficient platform where knowledge, resources and opportunities meet to the students. We train and develop dynamic entrepreneurs who wish to take up farming and value addition of farm produce for enhancing the farmer profitability. We involve our students in revolving fund projects wherein they gain expertise beyond academics such as project planning and implementation which helps them to transform themselves into confident Agri-preneurs. We have state-of-the-art infrastructure and intellectual legacy for making classroom and practical learning more enjoyable and intriguing. 
Kantaben Kashiram Institute of Agriculture Sciences and Research (GUNI-KKIASR) is one of the most ambitious educational initiatives of Ganpat University and is situated Ganpat Vidhyanagar Campus, Kherva, Mehsana, Gujarat. The city is famous for its remarkable cultural and social life.The college is named, Kantaben Kashiram institute of Agriculture Sciences and Research given for generous support of Kantaben Kashiram Patel. The establishment of the Institute is an important landmark in expanding Agricultural education as well as scientific research in Gujarat. There are various departments working on crop-breeding, crop-production, crop-protection and Social Sciences and thereby carrying out various activities of education, research and outreach.
KKIASR aim to establish knowledge hubs, innovation hubs and empowering youth as agricultural professionals who can uplift rural development through quality education, profound research and extension activities involving the farming community for local enthusiasts for bringing adoptable technologies to earn more income.
