The Research at Ganpat University – Kantaben Kashiram Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Research is committed to fostering a vibrant research ecosystem that promotes innovation, academic excellence, and sustainable agricultural development. As a pivotal unit of the agricultural college and university, it facilitates and supports advanced research across diverse domains of agriculture including agronomy, soil science, plant breeding and genetics, horticulture, entomology, plant pathology, natural farming, organic farming, and agri-business management.

The Research Cell actively assists faculty and students in securing external funding from national and international agencies, managing intellectual property rights, and encouraging interdisciplinary collaborations with reputed research institutions and industry partners. Researchers are provided access to state-of-the-art laboratories, modern field research plots, precision agriculture tools, and advanced instrumentation, ensuring a conducive environment for conducting impactful, ethical, and socially relevant studies.

In alignment with the institute’s vision to bridge science and society, the Research Cell organizes regular workshops, training programs, capacity-building seminars, and national-level conferences to enhance the research skills and professional growth of the academic community. Emphasis is also laid on technology transfer and commercialization of research outputs in areas like climate-resilient farming, integrated farming systems, smart irrigation solutions, biofertilizers, and sustainable crop production practices, thereby contributing to both rural development and economic growth.
