Profile
Dr. Chandresh is an exceptional individual with a strong academic background and extensive research experience in entomology. His qualifications include a master's degree and a doctorate from SDAU, Sardarkrushinagar which is prestigious institutions in India. His academic achievements are further evidenced by his successful completion of the ASRB-ICAR NET exam in 2019 and ASRB-ARS NET exam in 2021, demonstrating his proficiency and knowledge in the field of entomology. His research spans various areas within entomology, including Population Dynamics, Toxicology and Integrated Pest Management.
During his doctorate, Dr. Chandresh made a significant contribution to the field by studying eco-friendly management of mango hopper. His work resulted in the identification of different coloured sticky traps for monitoring and management of mango hopper. He has also conducted biochemical studies for identifying resistant variety of mango. During his master’s degree focusing on seasonal incidence and management of major insect pest of cucumber in field condition.
Beyond research, Dr. Chandresh actively engages in academic activities, including delivering lectures on various courses such as Fundamentals of Entomology (IIA07FEN), Livestock and Poultry Management (IIIA09LPM), Pests of Crops and Stored Grain and their Management (VA03PCS) and Management of Beneficial Insects (VIA05MBI). Moreover, he has contributed to the three research paper, four articles and one book chapter publications, further solidifying his reputation as a prolific researcher in the field of entomology. His dedication, qualifications and teaching abilities make him a valuable asset to GUNI-KKIASR.
