AWARD AND ACHIEVEMENTS
1. 2nd Rank in Post-graduate category (January, 2023): Second rank was achieved by Dr. Dikshit for Poster Making and presentation Award on theme of “Soils: Where food begins” during celebration of World Soil Day 2022 at Anand Chapter of the Indian Society of Soil Science, Anand Agricultural University, Anand.
2. SHODH- ScHeme of Developing High Quality Research Scholarship (2019): Dr Dikshit was awarded with a stipend for SHODH- ScHeme of Developing High Quality Research Scholarship, Government of Gujarat.
3. University Fellowship (2013): Dr. Dikshit received university fellowship for UG Programme in Anand Agricultural University in Bachelor’s degree.
Profile
Dr. Dikshit is a distinguished professional with an impressive academic background and extensive expertise in soil science and agricultural chemistry. He holds a master's degree from SDAU, Sardarkrushinagar and a doctorate from AAU, Anand, both renowned institutions in India. His research covers a wide range of topics, including integrated nutrient management, nano-fertilizers and analytical chemistry.
During his Ph.D., Dr. Dikshit made notable advancements in the field by examining the effectiveness of nano-fertilizers on field crops, identifying the best concentration and timing for application to enhance efficiency. He also carried out various physiological studies on pearl millet. His master's research focused on the effects of zinc and thiourea on nutrient content and quality of green gram.
In addition to his research, Dr. Dikshit is actively involved in academic activities, teaching courses such as Manure, Fertilizer and Soil Fertility Management and Problematic Soils and Their Management. He has authored four research papers, four articles and contributed to four book chapters, reinforcing his standing as a prolific researcher in soil science and agricultural chemistry. His dedication, qualifications and teaching skills make him an invaluable asset to GUNI-KKIASR and the field of soil science and agricultural chemistry as a whole.
