Profile

Dr. Jigar is a dedicated agronomist with a profound academic background and extensive research experience in the field of agriculture. Holding a doctorate in Agronomy from C.P. College of Agriculture, SDAU, Dantiwada, Dr. Joshi has demonstrated a keen interest in enhancing agricultural practices through innovative research and practical applications. During his academic journey, Dr. Joshi has conducted significant research focusing on optimizing crop production methods. His master's research project also showcased his expertise in agronomic techniques. Furthermore, his doctoral research project on nutrient management in potato highlighted his commitment to improving crop yield and sustainability.

Dr. Jigar has a diverse professional background, including roles as an assistant professor, farm in-charge and young professional. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at KKIASR, Ganpat University he actively contributes to teaching in agronomy subject and field work. Dr. Joshi's pursuit of knowledge extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his participation in various training programs, seminars, and workshops. His dedication to academic excellence is reflected in his achievements, including qualifying the ICAR NET Exam in Agronomy, publishing research papers and book chapters, and receiving accolades for his contributions to agricultural literature.

In addition to his academic and professional endeavours, Dr. Jigar actively engages in community service and disaster relief efforts. His participation in the rehabilitation of horticulture orchards during the Taukate cyclone disaster in Amreli, Gujarat, underscores his commitment to serving society and mitigating agricultural challenges. His passion for agriculture and dedication towards continuous learning make him a valuable asset in advancing agricultural research and promoting sustainable farming practices.
