General Information
Dr. Kalpesh S. Vaghela is a dedicated researcher and educator with a strong background in horticulture, specializing in vegetable science. He earned his Ph.D. from ASPEE College of Horticulture and Forestry, NAU, Navsari, and has also qualified for the ASRB-ICAR NET exam. During his doctoral studies, he made a significant contribution to onion research by studying geometric spacing and evaluating different onion varieties. His research also focused on analyzing the chemical properties of onions during harvest and storage. Beyond research, he is actively involved in academics, delivering lectures on various courses. He leads multiple projects as a Principal Investigator (PI), Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), and mentor. His dedication to teaching and research reflects his commitment to students' overall development. He has also contributed to academic literature with seven research papers, five articles, and three book chapters, strengthening his reputation as a prolific researcher in horticulture. In addition, he serves as a Placement Officer in the institute, helping students secure career opportunities. His expertise, dedication, and teaching skills make him a valuable member of GUNI-KKIASR.
