Profile

Mr. Chintan Dholariya is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Agroforestry techniques, Quality planting material production technology for Agroforestry, Block plantation, Silviculture, Ecology, Carbon sequestration, Apiculture, Forest Mensuration as well as area specific Agroforestry system development. He earned his M. Sc. in Forestry with Specialization in Agroforestry from the Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, where his master’s research explored Impact of different salinity levels on growth and physiological performance in Leucaena leucocephala Lam. Accomplished professional with extensive research experience in developing regeneration techniques for lesser known and threatened forestry tree species. Proficient in research methodologies, statistical tools, and experimental design. Committed to driving innovation and advancing research programmes through analytical research and effective article and report writing. Bringing well-established groundwork in academic research and teaching, with focus on fostering student engagement and collaborative learning.

After M. Sc. he served as a Senior Research Fellow in Gujarat state government sponsored Plan project for Conservation of LKT tree species at the College of Forestry, NAU, Navsari, where she contributed to the development of various conservation techniques for lesser known and threatened tree species of South Gujarat region. Applying various pre seed treatment to the seeds for breakdown of Seed dormancy and enhancing Germination percentage and Survival ratio. This project strengthened his expertise in forest conservation and connected his research to large-scale forestry initiatives. He has presented his work at national and international conferences, receiving recognition such as the Best Poster presentation and Best Oral presentation Awards.
