Profile

Dr. Vishva P Patel stands out as a remarkable individual with a solid academic background and a wealth of expertise in agricultural statistics research. She earned her Master's degree and Doctorate from College of Agriculture, JAU, Junagadh, Gujarat. Her research endeavours encompass a wide array of fields including statistical modelling, forecasting and volatility measure of price.

During her Ph.D., Dr. Vishva made a significant impact in the field of expertise in advanced statistical tools (ARIMA, GARCH, VAR and VECM) for price forecasting of sesame, which strengthens her quantitative research skills in the field of Agricultural Statistics.

In addition to her doctoral research, Dr. Vishva Patel conducted significant studies during her master's degree, by applying growth models (CGR, CDR, Cuddy Della Valle Instability Index and CAGR) and instability analysis, she strengthen her skills in statistical and econometric research methods. She discovers to critically analyze how the introduction of a technology (Bt-cotton) in one crop indirectly impacted another (groundnut) one.

Beyond research, Dr. Vishva actively engages in academic activities, including delivering lectures on various courses such as Agricultural statistics, Agricultural informatics and Agricultural analytics.
