Objectives of the Programme
1. Enhancing Knowledge in Genome Editing
To provide faculty members, research scholars, students and industry professionals with a comprehensive understanding of plant genome editing techniques.
2. Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry
To encourage collaboration between researchers, academicians, and industry professionals for knowledge exchange, research partnerships, and future innovations in agricultural biotechnology.
3. Exploring Ethical and regulatory Aspects
To discuss ethical considerations, biosafety regulations, and commercialization prospects of genome-edited crops in the agricultural sector.
4. Promoting Research and Innovation
To encourage faculty members and scholars to undertake innovative research in plant biotechnology, leading to high-impact publications, patents, and funding opportunities.
